Jardine's Lookout
Last Saturday Sean (from Beijing) and I hiked a section of the Hong Kong Island trail called Jardine's Lookout. Actually I found out once we were there that was a park that was developped by the Canadian government to commemorate Canada fighting Japan in Hong kong during WWII, who know?!
It was really incredible to see how easy it is to escape the congestion of downtown Hong Kong by taking a taxi a few kilometers to the interiour of the island. We hiked up A LOT of to the top of Mount Butler, the second highest mountain on Hong Kong Island. From there we went down to one of the many reservoirs in HK and we saw a REALLY beautiful dam.
